From URL to live LinkedIn tracking in 5 steps
Enter your site URL in Sytrics
Go to sytrics.io, paste your website URL, and select your business type.
Select LinkedIn as platform
Choose LinkedIn from the platform list. Sytrics generates the Insight Tag base code and conversion event code.
Add the Insight Tag via GTM
Create a new Custom HTML tag in GTM, paste the generated code, and set the trigger to All Pages.
Get your Conversion ID

Where do I find my LinkedIn Partner ID?
In LinkedIn Campaign Manager → Account Assets → Insight Tag. Your Partner ID is shown in the Insight Tag code snippet — it's a 7-10 digit number. Replace PARTNER_ID in the Sytrics-generated code with this number.
Where do I find my Conversion ID?
In LinkedIn Campaign Manager → Analyze → Conversion Tracking → select or create a conversion → the Conversion ID is shown in the event code snippet. Each conversion action has a unique ID.
What demographic data does Insight Tag provide?
Once installed, LinkedIn provides company name, industry, company size, job function, seniority, and country data for your website visitors — even anonymous ones. This is available in Campaign Manager → Website Demographics.
How long is LinkedIn's attribution window?
LinkedIn's default attribution is 30 days post-click and 7 days post-impression. For B2B campaigns with long buying cycles, you can extend the click-through window to 90 days in Campaign Manager conversion settings.
Can I use LinkedIn CAPI?
LinkedIn's Conversions API is available but currently has limited adoption. It allows server-side event matching similar to Meta CAPI. Sytrics will add a LinkedIn CAPI guide when the API reaches wider availability. For now, the Insight Tag + GTM approach covers the majority of B2B tracking needs.
